Stop Hoping for Your Dreams to Come True

Good evening. I’m here to tell you to stop hoping for your dreams to come true. Life is short and there’s no time to waste. Start making your dreams come true. How old are you? Are you 20, 40, 60 years old? Are you somewhere in between? It doesn’t matter. You are never too old or too young to start working on your dreams. Let me ask you another question, how do you spend your time? Are you like most people and work your job and then go home? At what point in your day do you invest in your future self? You are not having a productive day if you do not set time aside to work on yourself. Each of you needs to set time aside to work on your health, planning your future, thinking about finances, etc. Each of us has something that we need to improve on.

I’ll openly admit that there are things I need to work on. I had thought about making a blog for a long time but I did not put the effort forward to create my blog until recently. Hope is not the reason that I currently have my blog. Effort and persistence is the reason I have my blog. I set time aside in my day to work on my writing. I want to be a blogger. This is how I am working on my goals. Set some time aside to think about your future. Make a plan that you can reasonably follow. Stop hoping for your dreams to come true. Now is the time to put the effort in and get results. I am challenging each of you. This is the time to improve yourself. Stop hoping, start doing.

Choose Happy

Happiness is an easy concept. It is the feeling of being content. How do you measure it in your own life? Do you feel like you could be more happy in life? I believe that you should put your happiness first. As I grow as a person, I see so many people settle in their life. Pick a career that makes you happy. Pick a partner who makes you happy. Surround yourself with friends who make you happy. Spend time doing hobbies that you enjoy. When you are truly happy with your life, you will be successful. Your job isn’t important if you spend your time there wanting to leave. Your partner isn’t the right one if you spend most of your time around them unhappy. Your friends aren’t the right group of people if they drag you down. Put people in your life who want you to be successful. Change is difficult. It is uncertain but change is the first step to a happier life. I have spent the past week focusing on my own happiness. I spent a lot of time hiking and being around the people who make me happy. I believe that each of us, myself included, can make small changes that will impact us for the rest of our life. It’s time to grow. I wish all of you the best!
